I grew up in a small town about 150km from Toronto. In a town like that you can't escape the classic rock influence. I started playing bass at the age of 13 (30 years ago) and was heavily influenced by Geddy Lee, Chris Squire, Phil Lynott and Glenn Hughes. In my later teens I discovered players like Bruce Thomas from Elvis Costello's band, Graham Maby from the Joe Jackson Band and Andrew Bodnar from the Rumour. This combination of hard rock roots and new wave/power pop leanings led me to a unique style of my own.

I moved to Toronto in my late teens and have been playing in different rock bands ever since. I've been lucky to have toured a great deal here in Canada and in the EU with many of my former bands and now I spend several months each year on the road with White Cowbell Oklahoma, mostly in the EU. I've been very luck to have been able to stay involved with music as a side man and member of many project over the years.
