I was born on 8 may 1965

I started to play bass when I was 14 years old with some schoolfriends. I played music in a band called ‘Carboleum’. The type of music was ‘dutch-pop’. The band played covers from Doe Maar, Toontje Lager and Bram Vermeulen.

After several years and a study in Nijmegen i started to play in a band that was called ‘Stortplaats BV’. This band played several concerts in the Netherlands and sometimes also as a supporting act for bands like ‘Raymond van het Groenewoud’, ‘De Dijk’ and ‘Bram Vermeulen’. After a few years the name of the band was changed in ‘Bij Lobith’, and this band stopped in 2005.

In 2008 I joined a band called ‘Laydeez’, a soul coverband. You can see the band on the internet:

I have a Fender standard Jazz Bass MIM and a hartke ha 3500 head with a hartke 115 XL cabinet.
