Hi there, lefties! My name is Frits Jochems, I live in Belgium near Antwerp and play a lefhanded double bass handmade in 2000 by a Belgian luthier. It is based on a Panormo-model and I love playing it. I've played electric bass for years, but I exclusively turned to double bass since I've owned this bass. I can recommend playing the double bass to everyone: this is definitely a challenge! You should try it, especially bowing (intonation)!
