I play in a band called Meltdown (www.meltdown.sucks.nl), we play a mix that consists of punk, metal, grunge, emo(core)...as long as it is loud you can say, we play it!!! I hate to say it but if you have to compare us to something we are a bit Smashing pumpkins, a bit Foo Fighters, a bit the Hives and a bit Nirvana! Our band exists now 3 years and we started off from scratch; we never had any experience with the band-playing thing but were working hard to get somewhere!!!

In september 2003 we had our first record released and at the moment were planning some sort of tour trough Sweden and hopefully also the other Scandinavian countrys!! My gear consists of a Yamaha BBN5IIL 5 string bass and an Fender Jazz Standard bass (I hate it that fender doesnt make lefthand USA J-basses...The only one available are from the 60s and 70s and are way too expensive for a student like me!! But someday i will own one!!!)

My amplifier is a Hartke Kickback 15 combo, but Im saving for a Hartke 3500 head with 4x10.... I used to play a lot with effects but nowadays im nearly clean; the only thing ill use now and then is a Ibanez bass overdrive!!
