Fender Jazz Bass

Im sellin' a 2008/2009 Fender American Jazz Bass, Lefty (ofc). The only reason I want to sell it, cos' there is a bass getting built for me, and I dont need this one anymore.

I replaced the neck with a Warmoth jazz bass neck (1-piece maple, maple fingerboard, 21 fret)
And I have made a fretless (with epoxy coating) from the original fretted rosewood neck.
The Warmoth neck - Gotoh lefty nickel bass tuners (vintage fender look, 60's)
The original neck - Gotoh lefty nickel cloverleaf bass tuners (fender look, 70's)
I have changed the pickups to Fender Original 60's pickups, so the bass have a really round tone, just like an old Fender. And I've added a Dunlop Straplock.
I like to be straigt with everything, so: the body got some scratches (see the pictures, the wood is unharmed, only the finish is scratched, but its not visible from 1 meter away).

Im sellin the bass and the original neck together. (bass+2neck)

I'm sorry to be selling this bass. She looks beautiful, is amazing to play and sounds fantastic! She has a great slap tone, stomping rock sound, and an incredible EQ that can create such a variety of sounds for all styles. The only reason I am selling it is because I have played 4 string basses for 18 years and just couldn't get into the five string feel. I will be most probably buy the exact same bass in 4 string when I have the money as it the best bass I've ever played.

The bass is in excellent condition, with just some miniscule marks from picking and some tiny marks on the back. None are big enough to see in pictures.

Price includes a brand new Stagg hard case I bought just for shipping it. Can knock off £50 if without soft case if you pick up).

Spector EURO 5LX

This bass:

This is a very new (assembled in March, 2008) Spector EURO 5LX. You can see the beautiful top on the pic; body is alder, construction is neck through. In case you have not heard such a bass before, it has scary clarity and sustain (the notes ring forever). I believe this is the best B-string in the industry – frightening lows that are extremely tight at the same time. I could rave on but just go read some reviews… :)

Modification:

I had this bass modified and replaced the electronics and pickups. New stuff: Seymour Duncan Passive Phase NYC soapbars (prototypes!) and the Aguilar OBP-3 preamp. I had two 3-phase switches installed, so it is possible to set the mode (single coil, series, parallel) for each pickup. For now I put the original electronics (ToneDump) and pickups (EMG 40DC’s) back, but you can get the Seymours and the Aggie if you want (see prices). Damage:

I will try to be as true as possible so you won’t feel cheated. Due to a bump on the upper horn a small part (size of a small coin) of the wood is damaged. The high gloss finish has been restored. On some places the high gloss finish has very small dots of wear (no damage to the wood). On the “bottom• of the bass a faulty gigbag left some small dots in the high gloss finish (no damage to the wood). None of these can be seen from even 1 meter away, they are not very significant (see the pic).
