The neck is the most stable neck I have ever experienced in more than 30 years of being a bassist. Due to this fact, the bass is sounding very precise and clear, no matter where on the fretboard. No "dead-spots" to be found whatsoever. Electrics and PUs are passive and amazing sounding - the tone control is very effective. With time, the Nitro-treatment is showing more and more effect, causing the sound to change and develop, and actually become better and better, provided that the bass is being played frequently. The bass is in a great condition, everything is working just fine. Since I have been touring with it a lot, there are a few visible cracks on the body - I can send you more pictures to show those. They do not affect the functionality of the bass. I did play this bass on some studio and live recordings with the Henrik Freischlader Band. 	Zum Verkauf steht ein Pike 5a Lefthand 5-Saiter, ein hochwertiger Linkshänder-Bass mit edler Holzkombination und vielseitigem Klang. Der Bass wurde in Polen gefertigt, Mensinger ist in Deutschland vor allem bekannt durch Adrian Maruszczyk, der im gleichen Werk seine Bässe fertigen lässt. Der Korpus besteht aus Esche, was für einen klaren, druckvollen Ton mit guter Durchsetzungskraft sorgt. Ein Schlagbrett ist nicht verbaut, wodurch die schöne Maserung des Holzes besonders gut zur Geltung kommt. Der Hals ist aus Bergahorn gefertigt und mit einem Ebenholz-Griffbrett ausgestattet, das ein sehr direktes Spielgefühl bietet. Als Griffbrettmarkierungen dienen klassische Punkt-Inlays. 	Mensinger Speesy Hello, I'm offering a Mensinger Speesy 4a left-handed model. This is more or less the signature model of ex-Kreator bassist Christian "Speesy" Giesler. The bass is in very good condition. A few scratches on the finish here and there, but nothing particularly noticeable. No damaged corners on the body or headstock. A smallpiece has broken off the nut on the E string. I bought the bass from the previous owner and left the nut as it was. The bass has a zero fret and the nut therefore more or less serves only as a string guide, this is technically absolutely unproblematic. The notch is also deep enough so that the string doesn't pop out. The truss rod works perfectly. In general, the EMG P4 soapbar gives the bass a strong Precision bass sound. There's only one volume control, so the bass can only produce one sound, but it does so extremely well. It´s hardly neck-dive, as the front strap pin is positioned a little further toward the headstock. It's not heavy either, even though it might not look it. Lighter than (my) Fender Preci. One small advantage of the reversed headstock: You can use standard long-scale strings. Overall, a well-thought-out, high-quality instrument and, of course, a real eye-catcher for us lefties. 	1979 Kramer DMZ 4000 bass, made USA. Aluminum neck with maple inlays. This is the active version of the DMZ 4000. It features a passive DiMarzio P-Bass pickup (hence the name "DMZ"), but in addition to the passive controls, it also has an active boost function for bass and treble. All of this works perfectly fine. The bass is in good condition for its age, with only minor signs of wear and the usual small paint chips. On the back, at the bottom end, there are three very small repaired areas visible upon close inspection; I have no idea what they are, they were already there when I bought it years ago.
