July 19th, 2001 OK! You are right! It took a long time, I know, but it´s time for vacation!! As well some things are changing here. They need time also. But here is the new update. Sorry for this late one. Our little lefty circle is growing up: Dan Jackson / USA, Rick Maddeaux / Canada , Sandy Sanderson / New Zealand und John Boyer / USA has given me their consent for featuring on my site. Thank you very much for your support! We met Dan Jackson in New York City. Dan is a friend of Carl Thompson and he picked us up for a meeting with Carl. End of July Dan will be our guest for a week here in Germany. We are happy to have his visit. We will go to the greatest musicstore in the world, Musik Produktiv, and check out their lefty department. Rick Maddeaux hat a impressiv colection of basses and Canadian made amps and cabs by Traynor. Sandy Sanderson is a lefty bassist and a luthier in one person. Please check out his website and take a look at his great guitars and basses. John Boyer is a double bass player and would like to get in touch with other lefties. Two more reviews of our meetings in New York City are finished: 1. We met Jack Frisch on May 22th, 2001 in New York City. Here you can see Jack doing his favourite job (counting dollars) under "meetings". 2. Here is the solution of my second mystery. "1600 Broadway" is the address of Roger Sadowsky You can read more about him and his workshop under "Meetings". Sorry! There was a big defect on my last update!! You can read now my meeting with Carl Thompson. Please take a look. That´s it for today. I hope you like it and we like to take a look again. A new update is in preparation. See you, keep in touch and a nice time of vacation, Arni |

June 22th, 2001 There is a lot of new information for you again and some more is in preparation. 1. I´ve got support from the lefthanded bassists Flavio Mangione/USA, Marc Hohl/Germany and Jack Frisch/USA. I met Jack Frisch in New York and I´m in touch with him since that time. I´m glad to feature you this lefty. 2. I will reveal a secret today: Under the rubic "Meetings" you will find a small review of one of the pioneers of electric bass building: Carl Thompson has given me his complete attention on May 19th. 3. Arni private! I think it´s time to give you some private informations about me and my family (as much as I can responce!). 4. The Music Produktiv / Ibbenbüren, Germany, has it´s own lefty department!! You will find there more than 60 (!) lefty guitars and basses, so they said. Talk to you soon, Arni |

June 6th, 2001 We are just comming home from our trip to New York City. We love this city very much and like to go back as soon as possible. In NYC we met two very pleasant lefty bassists. I will tell you more about this meetings next time. What´s going up for bassplayers behind this walls of New York City, I like to tell you as well. I´m in touch with Dave Edwards / USA for a long time. I glad to feature him and Paul Di Leo / USA now. Although Dave and Paul are professional bass players, I like to point to you, that I´m also intrestesd in informations from unknown lefty bassists (like me). I´m in touch with many lefties from over wthe world, but it´s hard to get their consent to feature them in our lefty list. Why? I think it´s more importent for us amateurs to use the chance of informations. In the meantime I thought a lot about a repetition of our CD (left-handed Bassists Review Vol. 2). The rules will be the same as in our first project. I only have to find a way to reduce the costs of this project. If anyone has an idea, please let me know. I can´t spent so much money as I did for the first CD. Keep in touch, Arni |
