Lefty Kinal SK-B 5 5-string

I had this bass custom built several years ago and now find myself needing to get rid of my two fine basses to make room on board the boat we're moving on to. I guess some sacrifices have to be made from time to time.

Flame maple top and matching headstock, alder back, Pau Ferro fingerboard. Bartolini MM + J pickup configuration with 18v preamp.
Controls consist of: master volume, pickup blend, coil selector for MM, bass, mid, and treble boost and cut, switchable mid frequency selector (250, 500, 1k), and a preamp defeat switch. Black and gold hipshot bridge and tuners, bone nut.

Gorgeous, fantastic sounding, great playing bass.

Bass has a Levy's Leathers gig bag worth over $350.

Bass is in Florida.

Rikkers fretless 5string.

This beautiful bass is made by the Dutch luthier Ferdinant Rikkers. In Holland he is famous for his fretless basses which have the singing qualitiy and ringing sustain that every fretless should have. The B string is very balanced due to the neck through body system and great quality of the neck woods.

I sell the bass because I got used to 6 strings. The new bass will therefor also be a Rikkers, but this time it will be a 6 string fretless.

Specs:
A 5 piece NTB longscale neck (wengé/ovengkol/wengé/ovengkol/wengé) with unlined ebony fretboard and nut. Beatifully flamed ovengkol body.
Passive Kent Armstrong hums (can be used in single coil, parallel humbucking and serial humbucking mode) and active Rikkers 3eq preamp.
ABM bridge and Gotoh tuners.

It took me 4 months for this bass to be produced it has a beautiful ash body with a seven piece thru neck and a lovely ebony fingerboard with lines.
